Bertha M. Grinde, age 99, died on Thursday, January 30, 1975, at Skaalen Nursing Home at Stoughton. She was a former resident of DeForest. Born in the town of Windsor on November 25, 1875, she was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Ghea) Lerdahl and Mrs. Robert (Helen) Sorenson, both of Madison; three sons, Theodore of Madison, Archie of Watertown, Sidney of DeForest; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Christ Lutheran Church on Sunday, February 2, The Rev. Charles D. Peterson officiating. Arrangements were made by Edwardson Funeral Home.
