Elayne (DeDe) Radke, age 89, formerly of Manitowoc, Wi. died on Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, in Arvada, Colo.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1919, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Erwin and Evelyn (Frosch) Miller.

While in Manitowoc, the couple were members of St. John's United Church of Christ. Although she lived in Colorado for many years, she always considered Wisconsin her true home. Elayne was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the Packers games led by Brett Favre.

She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law: Luella Miller, Manitowoc; seven nieces and nephews: Pat (Jim) Burdick, Colorado; Sandi (Terry) Krajnek; Craig Miller; Kent (Sue) Miller; Michael (Debbie) Miller; and Bea (Bruce) Elliott, all of Manitowoc; Anne (Dan) Mueller, Brillion; and their families. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister-in-law: Erwin L. Miller Jr., and Kenneth and Lois Miller; and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Aldine and Raymond Machia; and Natalie and Joseph Malinauskas.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for a memorial service which will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ, Manitowoc, on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at 3 p.m. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Rev. Dr. James Klein. Cremation has occurred, and Elayne has been laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

We will miss her smile and laughter as well as all the good times we shared, but we will always have those times to remember. She will never be forgotten.
