Erwin C. Miller, 57, of 1023A South 21st St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at the
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following an illness of a few weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born in Appleton in 1895 and when a young man moved to Manitowoc. He
married Miss Evelyn Frosch in 1917. Mr. Miller was a machinist at the Manitowoc
Shipbuilding Company and a member of AFL local No. 575 of the Machinists union.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Machia and Mrs. Clarence Radke
of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Joseph Malinauskas of Staten Island, N.Y.; two sons,
Erwin Jr., and Kenneth of Manitowoc; brother, Reuben of Manitowoc; four sisters,
Mrs. John Sorenson of Racine, Mrs. Mary Mathies of Sheboygan and Mrs. ___
___ chert and Mrs. Leo Dorey of Manitowoc; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
