Cynthia Ingraham was the 8th child of Jeremiah Ingraham and Abigail Hartwell. Her father served in the Revolutionary war and moved to Augusta, Maine in 1780 when Cynthia was a child. She married in Augusta on 14 April 1796 to David Wall. They were the parents of at least 8 children: Augusta, Zeruah, Elbridge, Ezra, Joseph, William, Luther and Avis.
