Graveside service for Evelyn Shankle Marshall, 85, of Decatur will be Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Steven Arndt officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Marshall, who died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, was born April 6, 1923, in Lawrence County to Leonard E. Shankle and Velma Irene Sims Shankle. She was a member of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one son, James Stephen Marshall; one daughter, Maxine Clemons and her husband, Bev; one granddaughter, Rebecca Pittman and her husband, Jim; one grandson, Marshall Clemons and his wife, Stephanie; two sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Christine Smith and her husband, J.F.; and nephew, Jim Johnson and his wife, Judy.
Pallbearers will be the men of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church.
