Mary Winter, 58, wife of Peter A. Winter, 526 E. Weidman St., died Wednesday evening in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She had been in poor health for seven months.
She was a native of Passaic, N. J., and a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church and the church societies.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Magdalena Bauer, Myerstown; daughters, Rosalie, wife of Charles Kindt, Lebanon, and Frances, a student at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh; two grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Francis X. Bauer, Natrona heights, Pa., and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held this morning from Thompson's Funeral Home for Mary Winter, wife of Peter A. Winter, 526 E. Weidman St.
A concelebrated Mass of Requiem was held in St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. The Rev.Michel Homola, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Frederick Farace, pastor of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown, officiated.
Pallbearers were Gregory Bauer, Joseph, Robert and Richard Winter and Frank and Steve Willman.
Interment took place at St. Gertrude's Cemetery.
