Leoda Nelle Stewart, 86, of Elizabeth, Indiana, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born March 9, 1926 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Ivan Lee and Ollie Lee Stover Smith. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church near Corydon and the Crawford County Arts and Crafts Group.She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Stewart, Sr.; her son, Howard Stewart, Jr. and eleven siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Stewart Webster of Louisville, Kentucky and Janice Lynn Stewart Preston of Jupiter, Florida; five grandchildren, Brian Preston (Amy), Karen Harris (John) and Angela, Allison and John Webster; ten great grandchildren, Kyle and Kris Atchison, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Brayden Harris, Taylor Preston, Heaven and Skylar Webster and Jude and Adrianna Ford; and a special nephew, Jim Smith (Barbara) who helped her and checked on her daily.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Robin Kistemaker and Rev. Rick Utz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery near Corydon. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. on
Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. Peter's Lutheran
