Bernice K. Johnson 1919 - 2005 Mom died on Sunday, Aug 14, 2005 of heart failure. She was born Dec 1, 1919 to Alex and Clara Gorman Kuberski in Moberly, MO. She was 4th of eight children. Mom married Bill King, later divorced, and had two children. They migrated to Tooele, Utah in 1943. Mom worked at Tooele Ordnance (later Tooele Army) Depot on and off retiring in 1978. She loved to travel & took quite a few tour trips with the Eagles and Senior Citizens, as well as on her own. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center and Eagle Aux. Meetings until her health made it too difficult. Mom married Ammon Johnson in 1953, later divorced. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Sylvester, Arthur, Eddie and Alex Kuberski, her sisters: Julia Scott, Millie Jacobs, and Betty Kitchen. She is survived by son, Jim King (Judy) and daughter, Dixie Williams (Ben), grandchildren; Greg Karabatsos (Belinda), Peggy Shields (Kenn), John Karabatsos (Jamie), Ron King (Suzanne) and Michele Hughes (Paul), 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Aug 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. Tooele where friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 prior to the service. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
