HOY.

Miss Vera Marie Hoy, aged 24, died at 12:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Hoy, 702 East Washington boulevard, after an illness of several weeks of a complication of diseases.

Miss Hoy was a lifelong resident of this city and had been employed as a stenographer by the Medical Protective company. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Young Ladies' Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella. She was graduated at St. Augustine's academy in 1920.

Surviving are her parents; one sister, Gertrude, at home, and one brother, Harold, of Chicago. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church, with the Rev. Thomas M. Conroy officiating. Services are not being held at the Cathedral due to the repairs being made at the church.
