A son, Ronald, was born to the couple in 1943, but he was reportedly killed at the age of 18 in an auto accident. She worked as a nurse's aide at St. Joseph's Medical Center and Lutheran Hospital. She was a resident of St. Ann Nursing Home at the time of her death.
