Anna (nee Byington) AuBuchon, 69, Pevely, died Monday, Dec. 2, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. She was born March 8, 1922, in St. Francoise County to Samuel Elsworth and Elizabeth (the article someone has crossed out the name Elizabeth by hand and written above it "Ida Mary") (nee AuBuchon) Byington (the article someone had underlined the name "Byington" by hand).
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ruth Ann auBuchon; one son, Kenneth L. Aubuchon; one sister, Birdie Dixon; and three brothers, Samuel Byington, Mike Byington and Raymond Short.
She is survived by her husband, Lee AuBuchon, Pevely; four daughters, Doris Schneider, Barnhart, Sharon Fleig, Festus, Linda Umbdenstock, Thermopolis, Wyo., and Annalee Crannick, Bloomsdale; one son Anthony E. AuBuchon, DeSoto; three sisters, Ruth Cosgrove, Great Falls Mont., Bessie Schaefer, Weingarten, and Christine Pettus, Bonne Terre; three brothers, Lucian Byington, DeSoto, Archie Byington, Valles Mines, and Frank Short, Scott City; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of the Assumption of Herculaneum.
Funeral services were Dec. 5 at Church of the Assumption with the Rev. Ronald Rubbelke officiating. Burial was in the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Herculaneum.
The family prefers Masses or donations to the Miraculous Medal Association in Perryville.
Arrangements were by Vinyard (article cut off here).
