∼Catherine Tennant married Wesley Martin Varner in 1795 in what is now West Virginia. They had 13 children.

The older Varner graves are situated in the rear of the cemetery near the left-most corner. The stone pertaining to Catherine Tennant was found lying on the ground broken in half. It states her death on March 20, 1847 aged 75 years, 2 months, 9 days.
