Oncologist. He was intervened together Dr. George Pack in an exploratory surgery in which he found uterine cancer to Evita Perón.
His career was devoted to patient care, studies, research and teaching, taking as a basic principle that the success of the fight against cancer is largely dependent on knowledge.
His life as a medical researcher was launched alongside the Nobel Prize Prof. Houssay within the Department of Physiology and then refined in the specialty centers in Europe and the United States.
He was Director of the Institute Roffo, President of the XII International Cancer Congress held in Buenos Aires in 1978, Emeritus Professor and Professor of Oncology at the University of Buenos Aires, among its most important positions.
The Argentine Association of Cancer with its library oncology, was one of his most cherished ventures and where he worked until his last moments.
He leaves us all his legacy of faith in the scientific basis for the fight against cancer, his exemplary track record and its model of scientific and medical.
