At her home on the Calvort ranch near Banner, Tuesday, August 24, 1897, at the age of 23 years and 6 months. Mrs. Emma Davis, wife of Chas A. Davis. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hillyer, of Banner. She leaves a husband and a child three weeks old to mourn her untimely death. The afflicted relatives have the sympathy of the community. Funeral services were held in the Big Horn M.E. Church yesterday at 2 p.m., and the remains were tenderly laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery at that place.
