Jerry Wayne Scott, 62, of Pleasant Hill Road, Prospect, TN, died Monday, July 2, 2007, in Pulaski, TN.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Jerry Wayne Scott was born August 22, 1944, in Elkmont, AL, to James Maple Scott and Annie Mae McNeese Scott. He lived all his life in this area. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Scott.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Scott of Prospect, TN; two daughters, Diane Yates of Ardmore, AL, and Kim Jackson of Elkmont, AL; a brother, Larry Scott of Athens, AL; a sister, Ruth Wales of Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, Lasenda Douthit, Chelsey Sylvester, Colby Yates, Mahalia Yates, Madison Young, Kaidin Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
