Mrs. Coleman was the daughter of Joseph Dodds, one of the oldest settlers of Sugar Creek township, he having settled in the county in 1818 when Mrs. Coleman was a small child. She professed faith in Christ at an early day and during her long and useful life, she lived as a faithful and consistent Christian. She was well known in the vicinity of Auburn and only the most kindly and friendly feelings were entertained for the old lady. Her death is generally regretted by those who knew her and to whom she had been a good neighbor and an example of Christian womanhood.
Funeral services will be held this morning at the Sugar Creek Cumberland Presbyterian church.
