Buck Lyman and Mollie L. (Mary Lodemia) Butler were married in Millerton, Fresno County, California on Nov 13, 1872. Millerton was a gold mining town which was flooded by the creation of Friant Dam on the San Joaquin River in 1942-1944. In 1880, Buck was living in Leadville, Colorado and Mollie was in Farmington, California. (divorced?) and on 4Jul 1881 she wed Nathaniel Siggons Harrold in Fresno county.

Buchanan Lyman died at his residence, corner of East Seventh and Alder streets, yesterday morning, of pneumonia. The remains were taken to Roger's undertaking establishment, where they now lie, awaiting the disposition of relatives in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

The remains of Buchanan Lyman have been embalmed by Rogers and will be sent to Russell (Bussey), Iowa, via the Rio Grande train, this afternoon.
