Abstract--age 88, of Mentor, OH., died Jan. 31, in Lake Hospital, Paynesville, Ohio. She was born Feb. 28, 1899, in Newburg, d/o the late John S. C. and Harriet Jean Shay Bell. Survivors include one son, John of Mentor, OH.; six daughters, Esther Neptune of Bakersfiled, CA., Mrs. Robert (Gladys) Nichols of Bloutville, TN., Betty Lorusso of Morgantown, Mrs. Enio (Ruth) Ohtula of West Farmington, OH., Mrs. Harry (Rosemary) Austin of Massillion, OH., and Mrs. Ben (Ethel) Woodruff of Massillion, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1969; one grandchild, eight brothers and one sister. Burial was in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
