Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brevelle Gobert will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in the First Baptist Church of Oakdale with Reverend Stephen Laughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Cryer Cemetery, Oakdale under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Gobert, 69, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 15, 2005 in her residence.
She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Dees.
She retired after twenty years of teaching in the Allen Parish School System and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oakdale. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Oza Gobert of Oakdale; two sons, Michael Dees of Oakdale and David Dees of Sieper; one daughter, Linda Dees Price of Shreveport; one brother, Ted Brevelle of Grapevine, Texas; one sister, Frances Brevelle of Houston, Texas and seven grandchildren.
