OAKDALE — The funeral for Mrs. Lavelle Seiley McFarland, 70, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at West Baptist Church. Brother Kenneth Crumbley will officiate. Burial will be in Cryer Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home.
Mrs. McFarland passed away on Saturday, Nov. 22, at West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital in Sulphur. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. today until the time of services at the church.
Survivors include her huband, Lorenzo McFarland of Sulphur; three sons, Ronnie Seiley of Carlyss, Keith Seiley of Sealy, Texas, and Larry Seiley of New Iberia; four brothers, Louis Perkins of Elizabeth, Wilburn Perkins and Charles Perkins, both of Oakdale, and Robert Perkins of Opelousas; one sister, Violet McShane of Beaumont, Texas; seven grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lee Seiley, and her parents.
