Dean Davis, age 74, a resident of Russellville, died Saturday, October 25, 2003, at his home. He was born April 8, 1929, at Atkins, to the late James Hence "Jim" and Dora Leanna Crites Davis. He was of the Pentecostal belief and attended the Pine Hill Community Church. He enjoyed fishing with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a sister, Lena Elnora Kinder, of Russellville; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at the Shiloh Cemetery north of Atkins, officiated by Rev. Terry Anthony. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Bewley, Jason Standard, Lonnie Kinder, Theresa Duvall, Andy Duvall, and Ellis Duvall.
