Anna Rawley was born in Rockingham County, Virginia, May 8, 1814, departed this life January 29, 1899, being 84 years 8 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to John Andrew in 1841 and three years later with her husband and one child, moved to Ohio, and ever after made Champaign and Clark Counties her home. Her companion departed this life November 5, 1867. One son also died September 9, 1875. She leaves three sons John, Noah, and Joel, two daughters Mrs Mary Tinyard and Martha, and 12 grandchildren and great grandchildren to mourn their loss. She with her husband united with the German Baptist Church in 1841.
