Martha Jeanette Whiteaker, wife of Isaac Whiteaker, town of Haney, passed away at the home of her daughter, Sunday , June 3, 1951. She was the Daughter of Whitney and Mary Kast. Born September 10, 1859, she was 91 years,8 months, and 24 days old. Her home has been in the township of Haney, Crawford County, Wis. excepting for a short period spent in Rusk County.
She was preceded in death by 3 husbands.
Henry Umback, married April, 1875. To this union were three children, two sons, Whitney, deceased, Francis, Lemon , South Dakota, and a daughter, Rosie, Mrs. Oscar Martin, Wadena, Minn.
The second marriage was to Scott Coleman in October, 1886. To this union were also three children, two sons, Thompson, deceased, Otto deceased, and a daughter, Mrs. Lynn Bell of Gays Mills.
The third marriage was in August, 1908 to Isaac Whiteaker who passed away November 21, 1926. There were no children by this union.
She was the last of a family of twelve. She leaves to mourn in addtion to her children, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and 8 great, great, grandchildren.
The funeral was held in the Gays Mills Methodist church with Rev. William H. Tracy officiating on Wednesday, June 6th a 2 PM.
