Her death certificate says she was born June 14, 1860 in Pennsylvania, but the 1870 Census (enumerated on July 9, 1870) shows she was age 11 at that time and was born in Illinois. In 1910, the census showed she was age 50 (a year older than her husband) and born in Utah (definitely incorrect). The 1920 Census also showed she was born in Illinois and listed her age then as being 58 1/2 and the same age as her husband.
Other records show she was born in Alton, Illinois in 1858. (Her older brother James was born in Pennsylvania so that may be the reason for the confusion.)
