COLUMBIA CITY - Violet G. Elkins, 78, formerly of South Whitley, died at 6:40 a.m. Saturday at Whitley County Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Thomas, died in 1964. Surviving are two sons, two daughters and eight grandchildren. Services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley, will calling there from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday.
