BORGER - Jim Brown, 55, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Lewis, youth pastor at First Baptist Church in Clinton, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Brown was born Mar. 24, 1946, in Borger, and was a lifetime resident. He owned Brown Funeral Directors. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was president of Borger Noon Lions Club.
Mr. Brown married Carolyn Sasser on June 15, 1967.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Brown, in 1968; by his mother, Vi Brown, in 1995; and by a sister, Sue Davis, in 1992.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter and son-in-law, Abye and Scott Hunt of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; a brother, Bob Brown of Amarillo; a grandson, Samuel James Hunt of Highlands Ranch; and an aunt, Lil Peterson of Austin.
