Henreich "Henry" Mahle 1779-1852

Henreich Mahle was born November 30, 1779 in Hesse, Kassel, Hessen, Germany. He was known as "Henry".

He married Anna Elizabeth "Maria" Strickenburger.

They became the parents to eleven known children; George Mahle, Mary Catherine Elizabeth (Mahle) Seigwath, Sophia Hettie (Mahle) Rickenbrode, Ludwig "Lewis" Mahle, Justus Mahle, Elisabeth (Mahle) Swab, Wilhelmina "Mena" (Mahle) Rickenrode, Adam William Mahle, Helwig Mahle, Catherine (Mahle) Lilligh and Jacob Mahle.

All his children were born in Germany and the entire family migrated to the United States in 1819, arriving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 27th of that year.

The family lived in Pine Grove, Venango county, Pennsylvania before moving to Washington and Fryburg in Clarion county, Pennsylvania.

Henry passed away February 12, 1852 in Fryburg, Clarion county, Pennsylvania and was laid to rest in the Dehner Cemetery in Strobleton, Clarion county, Pennsylvania.
