Son of John King and Jane Morehead married to Margaret Chambers O'Neil. James King Owned Woodlawn plantation west of present day Kingsland between Thandy Hall and Longwood Plantations on the edge of Big Catfish Swamp. James Married Margaret in 1808 with many children being born to the couple. Two of their sons Archibald Edward King and Rufus L. king are also buried in this ancient graveyard.
