Roger served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a machinist at JI Case/New Holland of Racine, Wisconsin.
On September 14, 1974, Roger married Diana Mayo at Holy Name Catholic Church in Racine.
Roger was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and he was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 180.
Roger would always laugh at life. He dearly loved his children and loved spending time at home and going to Grandma's. Roger valued the simple things in life. He was a hard worker and enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his wife, Diana; his son Brian Graves of Kenosha; his daughter, Betty Ann Graves of Kenosha; his father, Lynn Graves, of Michigan; his brother, Lynn, of Colorado; and a sister, Debbie Graves of Racine, Wisconsin. Roger is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 2223 – 51st Street in, Kenosha. Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home in Kenosha.
