He was a retired oil well worker.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary; five daughters, Lois and Jennifer Cornwell, Virginia Hobbs, and Nancy Rigdon, all of Henderson, and Margie Cornwell of Corydon; three sons, Paul and Realey, both of Henderson, and Robert Jr. of Dixon; four sisters, Loney Mae Greenwell, Virgie Agnew and Lois Cook, all of Henderson, and Pearl Cornwell of Arkansas; a brother, Tommy of Corydon; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Corydon Cemetery in Corydon.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
