Mrs Tracy graduated from Southwestern Teachers College at Weatherford, Ok. She later married Henry Talmage Tracy on April 18, 1915 in Arapaho, Ok. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1969. The Tracys moved to Tuttle from Binger in 1927 where they both taught in the Tuttle school system. Mrs. Tracy taught there until her retirement in 1957, which completed her 45 years of teaching. Mrs. Tracy was very active in all civic affairs and especially in school functions. She was a member of the Fortnightly Club, a life member of Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Tuttle Christian Church.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Seaver on April 16, 1989 and a niece, Helen Crosbie, July 14, 1991.
She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Hamilton of Chicago, Il.; 2 nephews, Steve and Rick Crosbie; a host of other nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery of Tuttle, Ok., under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
