WILLIAM A. BARRY
William A. Barry died July 20 in St. Joseph at the age of seventy-one years. He was born in Camden, Missouri on July 16, 1871, the son of Francis H. and Minerva Barry. He moved with his parents to Macon County where he spent praticially all the remainder of his life. He had been a resident of La Plata for several years.
In 1894 he was married to Miss Sarah Jane Deaton who died November 28, 1927. He married Mrs. Nellie Curtis on August 13, 1928.
Mr. Barry is survived by his wife, three brothers, George of La Plata, James of Wenatche, Washington and Everett of La Plata. One sister, Mrs. Betty Story of Paonia, Colorado and several nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. One sister preceded him in death about fourteen years ago and one brother who died January 15, 1942.
Funeral services were held August 1 and burial was made in the La Plata cemetery.
