ALICE LEE BARRY
---Alice Lee Barry, eighty-five, of La Plata, died at her home Thursday following an illness of a few months.
---She was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Moore Gasaway and was born February 4, 1877 in La Plata.
---On January 20, 1899 in La Plata, she was married to George Barry and to this marriage one son was born.
---Surviving are her son, Carl T. Barry of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one grandson, Roger W. Barry of Neligh, Nebraska and one sister, Annie Brown, of La Plata.
---She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
---Mrs. Barry was a member of the La Plata Christian Church in La Plata and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
---Funeral services were held in the Christian Church in La Plata Sunday afternoon at 1:30 with Rev. Frank Stout officiating. Burial was in the La Plata Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
---Bearers were Ray Sees, Dwight Gragg, Hadley Graham, William Naughton, Virgil Lindberg and Vern Henry.
