Funeral service for Colleen Mayes Vines, 84, of West Monroe will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday September 27, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Danny Trichell officiating. A private family burial will follow at Hasley Cemetery.

Mrs. Vines was born October 17, 1923 in Columbia, LA and passed away September 25, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Vines; sister, Dorothy Washer; brother, W.H. Mayes; parents, William Mayes and Jessie Nevada Mayes; and step mother, Ruthie Mayes.

Survivors include her beloved son, Jackie Lee Vines; daughter, Johnnie Vines Phillips and husband Greg; granddaughter, Kenda Ducote and husband Darren; great granddaughter, Addison Claire Ducote; and sister, Frances Scarbrough.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
