Duess Ashworth, 69 of Suwanee, died Sunday. Funeral will be 2 pm Tuesday at Peachtree Road Baptist Church with Revs. Preston Moore and Barry Goodman officiating. Burial in Peachtree Road Baptist Church cemetery. Mr. Ashworth was a retired General Motors employee and a member of Peachtree Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Willie B. McDaniel Ashworth; daughters, Emogene Thompson, Geraldine Johnson, and Helen Barrett; son, Calvin Ashworth; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Estelle Martin, Cleo Boles; brother, Willie Lee Ashworth.
