THE PARIS NEWS, 10 Jan 1973. 'Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Eldon O. Preas. The Rev. Ward Mallette, pastor of Seventh Street Baptist Church, officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Geer, Z.D. Locke, Bryan Denney, Andrew Bowers, Cleba Bridges and Odie Reese. Mrs. Preas died Sunday night in St. Joseph's Hospital.'

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ward Mallette, pastor of Seventh Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The former Miss Ruthie Wooldridge, she was born 10 Feb 1911, in Lamar County, daughter of Will M. and Alice Wooldridge. She married Eldon Preas on 26 Jun 1932 in Hugo, Okla. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church and of its Mary's Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband and several nieces and nephews.'

She was a daughter of William Moody (Will) Wooldridge and Nancy Alice Wooldridge. Her grandparents were Miles Lorin Wooldridge, Martha O. Campbell Wooldridge, James M. (Jim) Wooldridge and Mary Louise Dennis Wooldridge. Her siblings were Vessie Estelle Wooldridge, Miles Loren 'Billy Loren' and Rubie Pauline Wooldridge. Ruby was her twin. Her Wooldridge family has been proven to John Wooldridge born in Scotland in 1678. John migrated to Virginia circa 1700. She married Eldon Ozely Preas June 26, 1932, in Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma. She died January 7, 1973, in Paris, Texas. Eldon died October 2, 1990, in Paris. They were buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
