WESLEY 'DONK' JOHNSTON, age 51, of Ranger, passed away December 31, 2008, at a hospital in Fort Worth. Burial was in the Bangs Cemetery, Bangs, TX.

Donk was born July 5, 1957, in Ranger, where he was a resident for most of his life. He attended Ranger High School. Donk was a truck driver and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Johnston; biological mother, Jean Irene Johnston; and brother, John W. Johnston, Jr.

Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Johnston of Wichita Falls, Richelle Jones of Brownwood, Amber Wells of Longview, Amber George of Breckenridge and Chandra Griffen of Snyder; mother, Phillis Johnston of Ranger; brothers, James William Johnston of Lake Brownwood and Joey Phillip Johnston of Ranger; sisters, Melba Roberts of Gorman and Wanda Dossey of Ranger; five grandchildren and one on the way.
