Mrs. Florrie Rudd Weatherford, 87, of Holly Hill, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 12. at Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Dale Phillips and Rev. Jimmy Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Eutawville Cemetery.
Mrs. Weatherford was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Dorchester County, a daughter of the late John and Ida Lofton Rudd. She was a member of Pressley Memorial Holiness Church. She was predeceased by a son, Ray Weatherford.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Weatherford of the home; three daughters, Bernice Weatherford and Debbie Martin, both of Holly Hill, and Betty Jones of Elloree; six sons, John Weatherford, David Weatherford, Franklin Weatherford, and Robbie Weatherford, all of Holly Hill, Donald Weatherford and Allen Weatherford, both of Eutawville; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Friends may call at from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home, and at other times at the John Weatherford home, Holly Hill.
