Seab is a lifelong resident of Bath SC in Aiken County SC..My uncle luved 2 go fishing..He & my dad MD Kaney would go as often as they could 2 Santee--Cooper or Edisto or Clark Hill (although this wuz not one of their favorites)..In those days they had ice-boxes (that is a refrigerator & one had 2 continuously buy huge blocks of ice to keep in the "freezer portion" 2 keep items cold)...He ran the local ice-house in Bath on Hwy 21...Later on he bought the store across the street & there he & wife, Florrie ran a grocery store..Her sister, Blanche Thompson & her mother, Mamie Thompson helped in the store as salespeople...Then they found opportunity behind there (which is by the railroad tracks & on the other side is LBC High School) to purchase another store w/a house adjoined to it...They had a pool room there w/pinball machines etc..They lived there until retirement...They bought a house on Maple St behind the old ice-house where they lived until Seab died...Then Florrie moved 2 Aiken & lived w/her sister, Blanche & family...Seab & Florrie had 2 children who both died at birth...He has a brother "Dink" & Aunt Florrie had her sis, Blanche and one brother, John, who died of an early age of blood poisoning...John's wife, Elizabeth, was from NJ (?) and they have a daughter...Anyone who knows their whereabouts or how 2 contact them, please let me know at sugarkane33atyahoo.com...Any help is gr8ly appreciated...
