Mrs. Lou Ann Morgan, 86, of Hillview Convalescent Center, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 1988, at the center, after an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 14, 1902, in Riddlesburg, the daughter of William E. and Mary (Kennedy) Cartwright, and Nov. 17, 1921, in Cumberland, MD, married Herbert E. Morgan, who died Dec. 5, 1974.

Surviving are two daughters: Helen Lafferty and Irene Garlick of Altoona; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Bertha Crawford of South Weymouth, Mass.

Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Fifty-Eighth Street United Methodist Church.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Scaglione Funeral Home.

Morgan - Services for Lou Ann Morgan of Hillview Convalescent Center will be held the 11 a.m. Saturday at Scaglione Funeral Home, by Pastor Charles Zimmerman. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
