SMITHLAND, Aug. 28. Following a short illness ot heart trouble, Dulaney Barnes, prominent Smithland business man, died at his home here yesterday afternoon. Mr. Barnes was a candidate tor county court clerk ot Livingstone county In the recent primary but was defeated.
He was engaged in the operation of an electric light and power company here at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and three sons. Funeral arrangements will not be completed until word is received from one of his sons who lives in a distant state.
