Beler C. Warr
HARTSVILLE - Beler C. Warr, 60, of Rt. 4, Hartsville, died in a local hospital Saturday night.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Monday in Savannah Advent Christian Church by Rev. J.H. Shepherd. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Warr was born in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Lonnie L. and Bessie Hall Warr. He was a farmer and was engaged in a timber business.
Surviving are the widow, Mary Ann Matuse Warr; a sister, Mrs. Sallie Outlaw Walters of Hartsville; four brothers, Grady and L.M. Warr, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Len and Clarence Warr, both of Hartsville; three half-sisters, Mrs. Beasley Atkinson, Mrs. Herbert Atkinson, and Mrs. Richard Byrd, all of Hartsville; a half-brother, Jimmy Warr of Hartsville; two step-daughters, Mrs. M.C. Hooker of Bethune and Mrs. Pete Atkinson of Hartsville; a step-son, George L. Johnson of Hartsville; the step-mother, Mrs. Rosa Warr of Hartsville; eight step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
