Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Adrian and daughter, Mrs. W.P. Bonner Jr., attended the funeral of Mr. Adrian's aunt, Mrs. B.F. Cates at Ben wheeler Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Cates, who was eighty-three years of age, had lived in the Ben Wheeler community for more than fifty years, having moved there from the Edom community where she lived as a child.
She was the daughter of John Davidson, early settler in Van Zandt county.
She was a devout Christian and had been a member of the Methodist Church for more than sixty years.
