Wanda Marie Brockett Lewis passed away January 16, 2009 in the home in Surrey Hills, Yukon, after a long illness due to a stroke. She was born in 1928 in Arkansas to Joseph (Joe) and Lavurn Strickland (Fannie) Brockett, now deceased. Wanda is predeceased by her brother Warren R. Brockett.

Wanda owned and operated Enchanted Coiffures until she retired to marry her soul mate, (Aulton) Audie Lewis in 1986. She loved to promote good times with parties, cookouts, games and RV campouts. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, The Wedding Ring Sunday School Class, and Phoebe Circle, both of St. Luke's, and Les Bon Livres Book Club. She and Audie often traveled with their Frontier Sams and GMC RV Clubs.

She leaves sadly behind her beloved husband Audie daughter Judy and husband Jim Russell, OKC also Doug and wife Lory Lewis of the home Kayla and husband Don Trainer, Houston, TX Terry and wife Melody Lewis, Yukon Robin and Bill Grace, Abita Springs, LA. She leaves much-loved grandchildren: Treg, Blake and Tad Lewis of the home Cody and Colton Ubhoff, Houston, TX Jason and wife Keri Russell, OKC and Tiffani and Darren Perry of Ft. Gibson, OK Shannon, Sandy, Kim, and Autumn Grace, New Orleans and 8 great-grandchildren her sisters and brothers: B.J. and wife Jeannie Brockett, OKC Vera and husband Lavelle Ashley, Clovis, NM Bobby Brockett, Seminole Bonnie Zigo, Madill Jerry and wife Donna, Bumcomb Creek Lettie G. Yarrow, Grand Prairie, TX Margaret Reynolds, Tecumseh Frank J. Brockett, Aquascalientes, Mexico Cecil B. and wife Nona Brockett, Ft. Worth, TX, Eddie G. and wife Shirley Brockett, Calera and Teresa J. and spouse Mark Williams, Dumas, TX.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church at 15th and Robinson interment is in The Columbarium at St. Luke's. Memorial Service is under the direction of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home.
