[His death notice appeared in the Vermont Journal, Windsor, VT on April 13, 1855. "In Claremont, N.H. April 6, Mr. Lemuel Tracy, aged 82 years. Mr. T was one of the first settlers of the town of Cornish, from which place he removed to Claremont, a few years ago. He remarked but a few days before his death, that since he was 21 years old, he had not failed to vote the Whig ticket a single year."}
