A funeral was held Friday at Fairview Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Eric J. Fether.
Private burial was at Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends were received Thursday at Bolger-Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
Mr. Brubaker was born Sept. 10, 1913, in West Loop, Frankstown Township, the son of Elinas M. and Cora E. (Sell) Brubaker. He married G. Eleanor Loose on Feb. 27, 1937, in Hollidaysburg. She died Jan. 25, 1988.
Surviving are three daughters, Peggy J. Hanzelman of Bethlehem; Bernice P. Kephart of Williamsburg RD 2; and Janet A. Cruse of Hollidaysburg RD 2; two sons, Richard I. and Robert J. of Williamsburg RD 1.
Also surviving are four brothers, Lloyd N. of Hollidaysburg; Wesley H. of Decatur, Mich.; the Rev. Harry L. Sr. of East Sharpsburg, Roaring Spring RD; and Irvin W. of Hollidaysburg RD; a sister Leona E. Furry of Williamsburg; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three foster-children raised in the home, Betty J. Whittaker in Michigan; Iris Rhodes of Williamsburg RD; and John Swartz of Tyrone.
He was preceded in death by a son Donald Leroy on Nov. 3, 1942; four brothers, Elmer J., Simon R., Hiram E. and Clyde E.; and three sisters, Myra R. McKee, Iva Mary and Bertha C.
Mr. Brubaker retired as farm animal inspector for Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture in 1974 after 10 years of service. He had also formerly owned and operated a dairy farm in Yellow Springs.
