Mrs. Cindy A. Ethridge, 52, died Thursday, June 29, 2006, in Roper Hospital in Charleston.
Mrs. Ethridge was born in Laurinburg, N.C., on Jan. 7, 1954, a daughter of Ellen Parker Allen and the late Hubert Ray Allen. She worked with the town of Andrews for 27 years.
Mrs. Ethridge was a member and historian of Andrews Presbyterian Church and also was a member of the Presbyterian Women.
Surviving are her husband, David Wayne Ethridge of Andrews; a son, David Wayne Ethridge Jr. of Andrews; a daughter, Leslie Elizabeth Ethridge of Andrews; her mother of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters, Debbie Allen of Columbus and Jenny Allen of Pensacola, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon, July 1, 2006, at Andrews Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. John Black. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Andrews Presbyterian Church, 106 S. Rosemary Ave., Andrews, SC 29510.
The Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home is in charge.
