Maxine Sutfin daughter of Mr and Mrs. A.C. "Carl" Chase was born July 3 1923 in Alliance Nebraska.

She died in the Chadron Hospital on January 30 1973 at the age of 49.

She was married to James B. Myers in 1941, and three children were born to this union. Mr. Myers died in 1958.

She was married to Eugene Sutfin on February 18 1961 in Deadwood SD. Having lived in Deadwood and Highmore SD, they moved to Chadron eight years ago where she resided at the time of her death.

She was a member of the Deadwood Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband; Eugene, two sons Ted Myers of Chadron and James L Myers of Baxter Springs Kansas; one daughter Mrs Sheila Miller of Giessen Germany; two sisters Mrs lone Wright of Orick Calif and Mrs Darlene McElveny of Battleground Wash and six grandchildren.

The funeral was held Thursday, February 1, at 10 am; at Chamberlain Mortuary with the Rev Jerry Mclnnis officiating .Burial was at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis SD

CHADRON (T-HNS) - Funeral services for Mrs Eugene ( Maxine) Sutfin, 49, will be held at 10 am Thursday, at the Chamberlain Mortuary. Mrs Sutfin died Tuesday at the Chadron Hospital.

The Rev Jerry Mclnnis will officiate.

Burial will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis SD with the Rev. Jack Berg officiating.

CHADRON (T-HNS) - Mrs Eugene (Maxine) Sutfin 49 died this morning in the Chadron Hospital .

Survivors include her husband Eugene of the home at 136 Morehead; two sons James L Myers of Baxter Springs, Kanas and Ted Myers of Chadron; a daughter Sheila Miller of Giessen Germany; two sisters lone Wright of Orick Calif and Darlene McElveny of Battle Ground Wash and six grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending at the Chamberlain Mortuary. Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis SD.
