Elsinore, Utah -- Fredrika Hermansen Williams Clinch, 86, of Elsinore, Utah, died in Richfield, Utah, June 11, 1995.
She was born February 14, 1909, in Elsinore, Utah, to James Marinus and Minnie Nielson Hermansen. She married Robert Brigham Williams; he died. Married George William Clinch II on March 9, 1943, Bell Gardens, California.
In her early life she lived in Bell Gardens, where she was active in the LDS Church serving as a counselor in the Relief Society, teacher, activities chairman, music director, and in Cub Scouts.
During World War II, she worked at the Consolidated Ship Yards and kept all Blueprints for all ships built, and that is where she married her husband George. She and George moved back to Parowan, Utah, in 1968, where she was the Senior Citizens project coordinator. They then moved to Elsinore, Utah, in 1992.
She is survived by her husband George of Elsinore, Utah; one daughter, Mary Carol Williams Demings of Elsinore; stepdaughter, Loretta Clinch and Carl McCalman of Palmdale, California; stepson, George William III and Kathy Clinch of Riverside, California; foster son, John "Jack" and Dorothy Garrett of Temecula, California; two sisters and two brothers, Hedevig Wolff, Silver Springs, Maryland; Bernice Wilburn and Grant Hermansen, both of Bountiful, Utah; Neils Hermansen, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, son, John Charles; daughter Shirley Kurby Dresen; granddaughter, Michelle Demmings; great-grandson, Travis Shane Demings; two brothers, Charles and Jorgen; four sisters, Rachel, Marie, Dorthea and Else.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 1995, at 1 P.M. in the Neal s. Maglebly & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, Utah where friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 11:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery.
