Death Claims Miss McNamara
Daughter of Early Wichita Merchant

Marguerite McNamara; 333 N. Bluff, the daughter of an early day Wichita merchant, died Friday evening in St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. McNamara, now deceased, who were early-day settlers here.

Miss McNamara was graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and received nurses' training at Mercy Hospital, Chicago, Ill. She had been technician for Dr. Thor Jager many years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Survivors include three. sisters, Mrs. David McGonigle, 333 N. Bluff, Mrs. Floyd Lockhart, 1 Highland Road, Eastborough, and Mrs. W. P. Buck Sr., 7 Lynwood, Eastborough; two nieces, Mrs. Robert Kirk, 672 N. Armour, and Mrs. Charles Dooling, 3903 E. Kellogg; and a nephew, David: Lockhart, Casper, Wyo.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Crest Hill Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial wall be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Lahey Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

A memorial for Miss McNamara will be established through donations to the new Mount Carmel Academy.
